Welcome to PaperPlanit

Hi, my name is Siân, I am the founder and Creative Director of PaperPlanit. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always adored everything paper and design related and all things stationery.

A minimalist at heart (but you can never have too many planners) I have worked for 20+ years in the publishing industry as an editorial designer, I have been fortunate enough to travel the world with my work collaborating and working with renowned international publishers on many books and magazines... always clutching my planner, to sketch, take notes, jot down ideas and create concepts that I've brought back to my studio to bring to reality.

I have always printed my own gridded paper as I am very particular about the style I want, during the first lockdown, frustrated by the lack of inserts available to me, (I use Franklin Covey Compact size, not widely available in the UK) I began to create more of my own pages, after weeks of printing onto different paper types and layering various opacities to get the look I wanted I realised I had created something quite special and in my opinion, better than any store bought alternatives I could have dreamt of. 

I am passionate about our beautiful planet and part of the allure of being able to share my range of design led, minimalist and ultimately practical products with you digitally is not only the realisation that I can put my critical eye, design skills and planner addiction to good use but also the satisfaction that I will hopefully help you achieve planner peace with a clear conscience of zero paper wastage. Working closely with a group of designers, paper engineers, photographers, craft practitioners and editors, the creative 8, I hope to be able to bring to you many exciting projects over the course of the next few weeks, months and years through this website. With a primary focus on simplicity through design.
